Hygiena InSite® Listeria sampling devices have a shelf life of 12 months and must be stored between 2 and 8 °C (36 and 46 °F).

What does the InSite® Listeria test detect?
The test detects Listeria species commonly found in food processing environments. The media contains growth enhancers, selective agents and chromogenic compounds formulated specifically for the growth and detection of Listeria species.
How are the tests interpreted?
Results are indicated by a simple colour change:
Yellow = Negative
Grey spots = Presumptive positive for Listeria species
Black = Presumptive positive for Listeria species
The colour- based readout makes results easy to interpret without specialised equipment.
What makes the swab effective for environmental sampling?
